We base our ministry on the Catholic teachings of "Corporal and Spiritual Works of Mercy" and the "Themes of Catholic Social Justice". These teachings build on the church's tradition of responsible action in society, and guide our behavior as we live out our Christian faith.

All people are blessed with talents and strengths that flow from the depths of their soul, which allows them to make a unique and special contribution to the world.

While we all have talents and gifts to give, there are times when we are in a state of need. The Social Ministry staff wants to encourage all parishioners to turn to the Social Ministry Department when they are in a time of need. No matter what challenges you face - financial crisis, addiction, mental illness, grief, a health crisis, changes in life as you age...we are here to listen confidentially and to walk with you on your journey. In addition to our staff's varied backgrounds, we also have an extensive referral list. We are here to help and advocate for you.

We provide pastoral care for those in spiritual, physical, psychological or emotional need.
