Kathy Eberwine

I have been a member of St. Pius X Parish for 40 years. My husband Fred and I have four adult children and two granddaughters. I earned my certificate in Pastoral Ministry from St. Catherine University, St. Paul, MN and completed my internships at Dorothy Day Center, St. Paul, MN and St. Pius X Church Social Ministry Department.

I have been a Coordinator in the Social Ministry Department since 2002. I feel God has called me to re-present Him to those in need. It is not the act of "doing" that is important but the presence of "being". It is about compassion, the giving of love and respect from my heart to every person made in His image and likeness. One of the greatest joys I receive from this position is being a Eucharist Minister at Mass and to those who are homebound. I feel humbled and honored to have been chosen by God to share with others His body and blood.
